SOIFUA Village Polynesia pays performers under the following conditions: A.Performers must have a New Zealand bank account. And performers must have an IRD #. B.SOIFUA does not pay cash. SOIFUA makes all its payments by direct credit or cheque. This enables SOIFUA to track all payments. C.If you are GST registered then you must supply evidence of valid registration. Then SOIFUA will pay you the agreed fee, or at the agreed rate, plus GST and will not deduct 20% witholding tax. If you are not GST registered, then SOIFUA must automatically deduct 20% Witholding Tax from any payment due to you. D.If you are a casual performer, of school age, and if you attend a New Zealand school then SOIFUA will pay you the allowance or per performance fee as agreed with your parents or guardians. The New Zealand Inland Revenue department does not require tax to be deducted from payments of the kind discussed in this section. Therefore SOIFUA pays these fees in full, without deduction, to your designated bank account. E.If you are a casual performer and if you are either an adult or a school leaver then SOIFUA must deduct 20% witholding tax from all payments SOIFUA makes to you.
